So, my Amal Fellowship ended on Sunday 13th June, with a session that was emotional and a bit overwhelming. The start of the session was quite dramatic as well. After all the fellows joined we turned off our videos, at this point, our PM Sir Saad was disappointed as we all were supposed to keep our videos turned on. But in the meantime we all turned on our videos with a Thank You note and screaming THANK YOU Sir Saad and Ma’am Fizza.

Thank You! PM and PA

It was our gratitude for Sir Saad and Ma’am Fizza, who always supported all of us and helped us to learn and grow. After this, the session started with full energy. The game we played was “The Scavenger Hunt”. In this task, we had to solve the riddles and find the item of the riddle to take a picture with it. The best part was that it was a group task. Completing this task together was a great experience.

The Scavenger Hunt

After this, the emotional part was the goodbye speeches of our PM and PA. But it was more like a welcoming speech as it was mentioned that we can approach them any time. Also, I liked the fact that many Fellows from their earlier batches were still in contact with them. It shows the strength of the bond that we make here at Amal. So, I can confidently say that it’s not the ending of our relationship. Rather it’s a beautiful start toward’s what is coming next.

One of the important sessions of the Amal Fellowship was to Lead without authority. I learned that being a leader is not just about the title, rather your actions define whether you are a leader or not. Another important lesson that I learned was WHY. It means that we need to find out Why of our goal, and this Why is the real motivation for us to continue until the goal is achieved.

Learn to Lead, Lead to Learn

The overall journey of the Amal Fellowship can be understood with an example of an Airplane running on a runway. That run helps the Airplane to gain that initial momentum which helps it to take off to reach the skies. Similarly, Amal Fellowship helps you to gain that initial momentum to take off for a flight to your goals.

The journey starts from here
