Amal Academy

I completed the selection process and was selected for the Amal Fellowship Program. The only goal I had was to polish my soft skills. But it turned out to be much more. I remember during the orientation session of Fellowship, Amal alumni came for a talk and his words were. “What you will learn in the next three months is something not taught to you in 4 years of your university.”

At this point, I wondered that what it would be like? But time proved that he was right. During my Fellowship period, I have developed a whole new mindset. From the first short course of “Knowing yourself” to courses on Resumes and Cover Letters. Everything is worth it.

During these three months of Fellowship, one of the most important concepts I have learned is about the MVTP, it has helped me to work efficiently in a team, and to believe that Leadership is not just a title. In actual your actions define whether you are a leader or not.

“Talent might help you to win games, but it takes teamwork to win championships”

One of my important memory of Fellowship is during my one on one session with Ma’am Fizza. During which, talking about my personality she tipped me that if I fail to communicate effectively in a group people will just think that I’m shy. No one is going to judge me and create a negative image of mine.

This is one of the most important lessons that, I have learned during my Fellowship. As an introverted person who is unwilling to talk, this tip is much important as considering this tip now I can communicate freely in a group and it has helped me to act as a most valuable team player.

Thank You, Ma’am … Thank You all
